The discussions under each entry are a space for readers to share experience, ask each other and offer other views. Coffee is learned in many places, and good disagreement is welcome.
The discussions belong to the community. The Coffearium team does not answer questions there, and comments do not change an entry. To propose a change, use Suggest a change on the entry.
Please
- Stay on the topic of the entry, and on coffee.
- Be kind and specific. Disagree with ideas, not with people.
- Say where something comes from when you state a fact or a number: a study, a standard, your own trials. Experience is welcome; say that it is experience.
- Use Suggest a change when something in the entry itself should change. Suggestions go into our checking process; comments do not.
Not here
- Advertising, affiliate links or repeated links to your own shop or channel.
- Insults, harassment, discrimination or threats.
- Other people’s personal data, and anything illegal.
- Medical advice for individuals.
How the community keeps it tidy
Signed-in members can flag a comment. A comment flagged by several members is hidden until a moderator looks at it. Moderators may remove comments that break these rules, and may close accounts that keep doing so. Comments are shown with the display name you choose; you can edit a comment for 24 hours and delete it at any time.
Your words
You keep the rights to what you write. By posting, you allow Coffearium to show your comment on the site. When you delete your account, you choose whether your comments stay (as “Former member”) or are deleted too.
